So, in an effort to help my readers to adopt the attitude “How can I afford NOT to have laser hair removal” I am going to divulge to you how you can save money on these treatments. Be aware that saving money isn’t always to do with actual money spent.
I will start with a story from one of our newer clients to illustrate the importance of what I am about to tell you. It does so happen that this client is a young lady that I play volleyball with and one night after a successful win she asked me “ why are the prices for laser hair removal so high with one spa and lower with another? Is it to do with the quality of the laser?”. At this point, she was not a client of ours so I asked her to explain who was higher.
It seems she was given a gift certificate at Christmas for laser services at a very upscale and well known spa. She had gone for her first treatment, and not knowing any better, was satisfied with the treatment but was astounded as to the cost. I explained to her that in a facility such as that spa, there is large overhead and the prices have to reflect those costs, therefore making it more expensive for the consumer. Here’s the kicker though, after one session with Archana she was AMAZED at the difference in the quality of the treatment and the quality of the result. Specifically, she said that at the well-known spa they quickly went over the area one time and she was in and out in 15 minutes. The same treatment with Archana took nearly 40 minutes as she went slower and went over the area twice. This she feels is why she had a better result as it was more thorough. Now, I know this spa to have the exact same technology that we use, so the lesson learned is that not all treaters are created equal.
When seeking a laser service provider and to ensure the biggest value for the money you are spending, be sure to ask these questions:
· How many years of experience does the technician have in treating? Less than 2 doesn't mean they are not competent but requires you to further question their commitment to their trade.
· Ask the treater, what is your goal for me? A good answer would be as much hair reduction in as little treatments as possible within safe parameters.
· How many times do you pass over the area to be treated? If only once, how do you ensure the best coverage?
So now you are certain you have the right service provider, they meet your standards and give a thorough treatment. How else can you save money on your treatments you ask? With us we have many options available to you to help bring down the cost of your treatments.

Lastly, some tips to make sure that you are getting the biggest bang for your buck:
· Make sure to commit to the treatment schedule laid out for you by the technician. There is a method to our madness of bringing you back every 4-8 weeks beyond wanting to see your beautiful faces. Our first 3treatments help to synchronize the 3 stages of hair growth into one growth cycle therefore optimizing how much hair we get in each subsequent treatment. When you delay treatments, it’s difficult to get this synchronization and ends up in the need for additional treatments.
· Refrain as much as possible from tanning the area being treated. As soon as there is tan in the area we have to lower our treatment settings and end up not getting an optimal result. This inevitably ends up in additional treatments.
